Barna’s Beyond the Porn Phenomenon (2024) found that only 1 in 10 churches offer a program to help those struggling with pornography. Yet, 58% of Christians say it’s important their church addresses the issue. Where programs do exist, the difference is dramatic—those who attend a church with a porn-help program are four times more likely to have real support (52% vs. 14%).

That’s why we offer Sexual Sin and the Church: A Practical Workshop for Ministry Leaders. A two-hour interactive workshop designed to equip your ministry team to address pornography and sexual sin within your congregation with grace, wisdom, and confidence.

Through discussion, real-world case examples, and biblical insight, you’ll learn:
• How sexual sin impacts individuals, marriages, and ministries
• Why many Christians struggle to break free — and what truly helps
• How to respond pastorally when someone discloses a struggle
• Practical steps for prevention, discipleship, and recovery within your church

For those wanting to be more thoroughly equipped, we also offer The Freedom Fight’s Sex Addiction Discipleship Leader (SADL) certification program.

This training equips ministry leaders with everything needed to help people find freedom from porn and sex addiction.

You will learn the six roots of a porn or sex addiction that the Freedom Fight program systematically works through and the area of growth required to overcome them:

We equip leaders with the essential skills they need to help someone navigate the porn recovery process and we empower you with the tools, resources and support system to make sure you have everything you need to help others walk in freedom. Completing this certification qualifies you to be paid to lead Freedom Fight Premium groups, provided you successfully pass the interview.

The certification includes:

• 35 hours of self-paced online preparation, including self-assessments to ensure key principles are understood

• A one-day Zoom training to solidify learning and equip you to lead effectively.

Breaking Chains Therapy is an endorsed provider of the SADL certified training.
